Katsushika Oi (c. 1800-1866) was the daughter of Katsushika Hokusai. Like her father, she was a ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period. Oi is known to have excelled at handwriting and in bijin-ga paintings of beautiful women. Aside from drawing and painting, ?i also made keshi ningyo dolls and sold them to earn a living.
